Depression

Judgement clouded, heart racing,
relentless like time,
the melancholic effect,
senses dislodged, 
appetite lost,
following alice down the rabbit hole,virus attacking the core, 
indecisions building like a supernova,
stow away from life's questions,
rife with sadness,
a world turned upside down,
haunted by past failings haunting,
no light or future, 
self destruction imminent,
a damned curse,where is the resolve?

A demon upon the planet,
a myth upon this cruel world,
understood by few,
felt by the many,
surviving to raise again,
the cyclical nature of life,
a bane upon existence.

Solace is merely temporary,
no cure, but enlightment can be found,
seek guidance through education,
communicate with humankind,
momentary tears unlock emotion,
cardiovascular fuels adrenalin,
expediting repair,
blandness nutrition restoring health, 
normalities structure aiding recovery,

Damn the demon,
waging throughout our time line,a dark force, lurking in shadows,
patiently abiding its return,
repeatedly defeated,
uncloaking our weapon,
prosperity prevails,
faith heals,
encouragement feeds the soul,
gradually rejuvanate.
